These terms apply when you use Touchline, a football tactics board operated by TOSH in South Africa. By creating an account or using Touchline you agree to them. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your personal information.
Your account
You sign in with an email link or Google. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your account. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Free launch access
All available features are free at launch. No subscription, payment or card is required. Published feature and fair-use limits still apply. Any future paid subscription requires your explicit agreement before charging.
Optional future subscriptions
- If subscriptions are enabled in the future, Basic and Advanced may be billed monthly or yearly in South African Rand through PayFast, at the price shown when you subscribe, until you cancel.
- You can cancel renewal at any time from your subscription page. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- To change plans or billing period, cancel renewal and choose a new plan after your paid period ends. There is no automatic proration.
- If a payment fails, paid features may pause until it succeeds. Your tactics stay readable and downloadable.
- If we change a subscription price, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, where they apply.
Your content
Your tactics, notes, teams and uploads stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Touchline for you, including showing tactics you choose to share. If you make a tactic public, other users can view it and copy it into their own playbooks. Only upload crests, images and names you have the right to use.
Match data
Teams, fixtures and line-ups come from third-party data providers. We work to keep them accurate but can’t guarantee they are complete or error-free. Heat maps, average positions and shot maps are drawn from the events you record; they are not an official data feed.
Fair use
Don’t use Touchline to break the law, infringe others’ rights, harass anyone, or disrupt or overload the service, and don’t try to get around plan limits or access other people’s accounts. We may suspend accounts that do, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents it.
The service
We keep improving Touchline, so features may change. Your tactics also stay on your device and you can export them as JSON at any time. We aim to keep Touchline available, but it’s provided as it is and may occasionally be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may close accounts that breach these terms. If we ever stop running Touchline, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can export your work.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. If we update them, we’ll post the new version here and tell signed-in users about significant changes.
